Excellent job all around, would highly recommend, totally customer focused from Matt to Tiffany and the men that installed my HVAC unit. I was referred to them and was a no brainer as soon as I called and had a follow up phone call immediately, and my texts were returned immediately with questions I had before the job was even started and was trustworthy and honest. Isaiah, the tech, arrived figured things out quickly and fixed the problem. My system is kind of old so I asked for a replacement quote and Isaiah is taking care of all. Downtown Mechanical is an excellent option for all needs in HVAC, thank you.

We have had several heat emergencies, and I have a facility that provides services to homeless couples in Philadelphia. Alex and Adam arrived on time today to put in my air conditioner at my Mobil home down the shore. I am editing this post to add that this company is OUTSTANDING—and beyond—for customer service. Tiffany and Madison are super efficient, patient snd personable. First, we had a mini-split system installed and the installers were respectful of my home, professional and thorough in their work, also very personable. In addition, our whole-house heat pump broke down. Chris spent hours troubleshooting to find the problem, then obtained the correct parts and replaced. Best technician we ever had!! We used another company for over 20 years…wish we knew about this group sooner. Superb jobs on both units and we couldn’t be happier!! And I need to include that Kyle was also at our home today for ductwork cleaning. A fine young man and he did an AMAZING job!!

From the owners to the office staff to the technicians Downtown Mechanical is a 10/10! Chris came to my house in Wildwood, NJ (from Philadelphia) took his time figured out the issue and executed. Air conditioner went down in the heatwave. After calling around we decided on Downtown Mechanical. They are very nice and gave me an appointment the following day. Adam was great, he arrived when he said he would , was respectful, knowledgeable and fixed our AC unit with ease. He also double checked everything to ensure it was perfect before he left. Downtown Mechanical is outstanding! From the moment I called the emergency line because our AC went at 3am, I knew I had good people involved and they would take care of us. I didn’t catch the name of the woman ( now know her name is Jennifer!) who answered but, she was wonderful. When I told her we had an 11 month old and the AC is broke in a heatwave (94+ outside) she prioritized our repair and communicated with me personally. We even exchanged pics of our babies! We are fortunate to have such a family oriented business in the area. Dave came out first thing in the morning and was able to assess, repair and educate us. We will definitely be using Downtown Mechanical for all future HVAC service and repairs. You have no idea how much you helped our family and the care put into it truly meant the world. Thank you!

I had a duct work upgrade and my condenser moved. They were on time, fast, professional and cleaned up afterwards. The price was great too.

I scheduled an appointment through Tiffany. She had a tech come out next day! Chris was our tech, very professional, skilled, and knowledgeable. He got our AC unit back up and running in a snap. We are very happy with the service we received.

Why is this a great company ? To start, they design systems that are actually sized and laid out properly, while taking into consideration aesthetics for duct placement. John and his team were the definition of hard working professionals. It was a big job getting our ductwork replaced and they were very helpful along all steps of the way. I highly recommend Downtown HVAC services. I found everyone I had contact with always available at the touch of a phone call. From my initial call to Matty Rispo regarding my need to service heaters at my home and apt, he was always helpful, informative and honest. Christopher, his technician, who serviced them all was stellar. Tiffany, the secretary always answered my calls and was able to answer my questions and concerns . If this was beyond her capability , Matt always called me back the same day. When the heaters needed replacement , it was done the following day , on schedule as promised. I have absolutely no complaints.

Nothing is more frustrating than not getting customer service Tiffany was always responsive, super nice, and today went beyond my expectations. I registered the equipment and sent an email to her asking if I captured all of the pieces. Instead of just responding, she validated the serial numbers and noticed I had listed an incorrect number. She then entered them for me. I have to say, most wouldn’t have taken the step to validate the numbers.

Downtown Mechanical's service is excellent, from the estimate appointment, followup and ongoing communication, the days of installation. I felt prepared for the work, no surprises. They know South Philly homes. They respected my home and neighborhood. Their work is neat/finished and they cleaned up afterward. The heating unit is quieter, and I have central air! They even took out my 2 air conditioners; 1 above my front door. I highly recommend Downtown Mechanical.

Matt from Downtown Mechanical was amazing as was his team! He was so kind and understanding and made the process so easy for me. I was going through a difficult time with water intrusion due to condensation buildup and he knew exactly what to do and had his team insulate the duct work where needed. When they returned to finish the job I had my annual maintenance performed and he was kind enough to waive the fee for this year just knowing everything I was dealing with. I will 100% bring them in year after year to maintain my HVAC system moving forward.

Matt and his team at Downtown Mechanical are amazing. We were sleeping in 80° temperature 🥵, he came in did a quick fix to get us at a more comfortable temperature. Then 3 days later they installed a new unit , and now we are back to sleeping normal.🥶😴

I called to see if i could get an appointment for a check up because I was worried with my health problems I might get stuck in the heat. Madison was a pleasure to speak with as well as Tiffany. John was in my home the very next day in 100°+ heat!! He made sure my system was working efficiently by thoroughly checking everything from top to bottom and assured me I would be ok for the season.
