Downtown Mechanical – Union Contractor
Downtown Mechanical is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager with strong knowledge of residential and light commercial systems.
We are especially interested in speaking with a retired or near-retired member of Local 19 who wants to stay active in the trade while stepping into a leadership role.
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive background in residential and minor commercial HVAC
- Strong understanding of union work practices and jobsite coordination
- Experience managing installs, retrofits, change-outs, and small commercial projects
- Ability to read plans, prepare material takeoffs, and coordinate crews
- Excellent communication with customers, field crews, and office staff
- Commitment to quality workmanship and safety
Responsibilities
- Oversee residential and light commercial HVAC projects from start to finish
- Coordinate manpower, materials, and scheduling
- Ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule
- Serve as liaison between field technicians and management
- Maintain union standards and jobsite professionalism
